There are exercises that the PD patients may do their own to maintain flexiability.
Although it depends on each limitation and capabilities.
Can you recommend what are the simple exercises for the PD patients should not experience any pain and done it slowly and in a controlled manner?
It is to help them to improve their mobility, stability and flexiability and relieve their muscles/limb stiffness, difficulty for swallowing, breathing, communication,walking and sitting posture.
What are about some parts of PNF stretching exercises?

A good stretching and exercise routine is a great idea in PD where exercise is like a drug. It is not known if one is better than another---yet to be studied._________________Michael S. Okun, M.D.

As the PD patient I wish to share some parts of PNF exercises are suitable for PD i.e. to do it yourself or with the personnel trainer preferable.
There are not exhaustive, or experience any pain. Their aims are muscles stretching and movement flexibility and mobility.
They include several parts of body muscles exercises: Breathing, facial, neck (head turns, tilts), Back exercises: shoulder blade squeeze, trunk twists,prone push up (stomach), Upper body exercises: arm lift/down/ circles (with both hands) Leg exercises: Ankle circles,hamstrings stretch(hold one hand on a stool/object to the end for few seconds) , Knee to chest(bring up and down with one leg to your chest as far as possible) Hip rolls (lie on the back with both hips and knees bent i.e. keeping both legs together/ rolling left and right for a few second , Posture (sitting against back of the chair or standing against the wall to upright your posture for a few seconds if you are difficulties i.e breath out and breath in )
